easier. After you order your wedding gown preservation kit, you will receive your welcome kit within 3 to 5 days. It will be delivered door-to-door and the size of the preservation kit is 2' x 2' x ½”.
Through the years, the preservation kit has been continually upgraded. To provide a high quality service, and give every bride the valuable peace of mind that her most precious gown from her wedding day arrives safe and with no incident to the preservation facility. We are honored and proud to say that we never had gown lost or damaged during transit.
After you placed your stain stickers on your gown, and filled out your return shipping form. Unfold the heavy duty shipping box and seal it with the included packaging tape. Place your gown and any additional items you would like to preserved into the preservation bag, next tie it with the included zip ties and place the waterproof garment bag into the shipping box. Use the last strip of packaging tape to seal the box and peel and stick your prepaid shipping label outside of the box. You are ready to start packing your gown for a secure shipping to our wedding gown preservation area.
Easy! Now all you need to do is finish shipping your gown to us which we give you three very simple choices:
Yes. Use the Paperwork to check off if you’d like your gown sent to the same address you used when ordering your kit or you can specify another address. (Continental US addresses only)
You may preserve up to five accessories for free. These are the following accessories: tiara, duster, garter, ring pillow, money bag, purse, veil, train, handkerchief, corset strap (lacing), jacket, shawl/cape, gloves, sash.
If you’d like to include more than five of the items listed above, each item is an additional $10. For items that we charge extra: slip, shoes, silk bouquet ($25 each). A check can be included in the box with your gown for additional items you wish to have preserved.
Yes. In your paperwork there is a checkbox and a line item you can fill out if you think additional repair might be needed on your gown (beading repairs or repairing a tear). The preservation facility has in-house master seamstress that will handle the repairs needed
No. Our kit requires a signature. It must be sent to your home address or an apartment
Due to the size and weight of the final display box, we are not able to ship outside of the US.
Yes! We will send you confirmation of your gown arrival through e-mail. We will inform you the arrival of your gown and the cleaning and preservation process has begun. Please allow us 5-7 days after you send in your dress to receive confirmation.
