From the moment it leaves your hands, our knowledgeable staff is there, every step of the way. We use the most cutting edge technology built specifically to clean and preserve your dress. You can be assured that the memories of your wedding day will be perfectly preserved and ready to be enjoyed by future generations.

6. The Return Trip

After the preservation process has been completed, your dress will be placed in a water proof, crush proof container and shipped straight to your door. Our customizable shipping options mean that you can choose to sign for your dress or have it left on your doorstep. Your dress is now ready for generations to enjoy. At this point, your wedding dress has gone through careful inspection, cleaning, and repair. Situated in its stunning preservation chest, it is now ready to be sent straight to your door. We take great care to place your fully preserved gown into a crush-proof, double walled, water-resistant shipping container similar to the one you sent us your dress in.

Once we have sent your gown, you will receive an email notification with the tracking number and mailing details. It will take 5-7 business days for you to receive your dress after it has been shipped. As an extra layer of security, we require that all packages be signed for in order to make sure your dress gets safely back into your hands. For this reason packages cannot be sent to a P.O. Box.

Inspecting Your Preserved Wedding Dress

Once your gown has arrived, we encourage you to give the preserved dress a light inspection. We will include a pair of white gloves to perform this inspection. We recommend you wear them to prevent any oils from your hands from transferring to the gown. Carefully open the bottom of the preservation chest and examine the hem of your gown to ensure that everything has been cleaned and repaired. The rest of the inspection can be done through the viewing window. Through the window, examine the preformed bust, train, and accessories to ensure that everything looks pristine and properly affixed. Once you're satisfied with the inspection, re-seal the preservation chest using the included sealing squares. If you do notice damages, be sure to report them within 15 days of receiving your gown. Important note: If the gown is completely removed from the box and bust, we cannot guarantee new stains won't be transferred to your gown. Completely removing your gown from the preservation chest will void the 100 year warranty.

Preserved Wedding Gown Storage Tips

In order to ensure your gown looks dazzling for the maximum amount of time, be sure to store it in a cool, dry area. We recommend avoiding attics and basements as they are highly susceptible to weather andhumidity changes. A good rule of thumb is to place your dress in a location that would be comfortable for you to stay in. Remember that your wedding gown is made of some of the most delicate fabrics in the textile world and should be treated with love andcare during storage.

Frequently asked questions

When, after preservation, my wedding gown is delivered, is a signature necessary?

Yes! We need a signature for your wedding dress delivery, but if you won't be home, you can ask UPS to keep it at their place for you to pick up. UPS tries to deliver three times before doing that. You can also choose when UPS delivers when you send it.

Do you ship a gown/dress to the PO box?

Unfortunately, we can't send the kit to PO Boxes or APO addresses because of its size and specific requirements.

Can you clean and preserve a gown damaged by mold or flood?

Yes! We've fixed up dresses that got messed up in all those scenarios and even other crazy mishaps. Just give us a ring beforehand and spill all the beans about what happened to your gown.
